Paeroa. Saturday. Mr. Goodwin, inspector of schools under the Board of Education, is at present holding the annual standard examinations in connection with the Upper Thames schools. Mr. Nathan has resigned the captaincy ol the Paeroa Fire Brigade. Mr. James McAndrew landed during the week three barges of timber totalling Si,WJ feet. Mr. A.
