, « ■ At the Opera House on Saturday night the Kennedy- Lucas Dramatic Company produced " The Colleen Bawn," one of the beat dramatisations of thab versatile author, the late Mr; Dion jrfoucicault, and it was staged and pinned effectively. Miss D'Alfcon in the title ,role played with a groat deal of force and powor, and her natural unaffectedness carried the sympathies of the audience. Mr. Lucas as Danny Man, Mr. Kennedy as Myles Na Coppaleen, Mr. Prank Morton as Hardress Cregan, and Mrs. Walter Hill as Mrs. Cregan, playod effectively, and Miss Ettie Howard in her first appearance scored a decided success, being recalled three times for the song, "Cruiskeon Lawn." The drama will be repeated tonight, To-morrow night there will bo a change of programme, when Scudamoro'a drama "Fighting Fortune" will be staged, and on Wednesday evening Sir Henry Irving's adaptation of "The Bells'" will be staged, Mr. Albert Lucas taking the role of Matthias.
