Wellington, Friday. The decision of the court of inquiry into the collision between the Wakatipu and Flora was that Captain Ewan, of the former, should pay tho costs, £29 10s. The Stipendiary Magistrate said if he had nob been dismissed by the Union Company his certificate would havo been suspended for some tlmo, bat undor the circumstances thore was no need to deal harshly with an officer who had a good record of 10 years.
