[it BAM.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday, The regulations for the close season for mullet in the Kaipara Harbour are revoked, and the following substituted 1. The period from the first of December in one year to the last day of February in tho next) succeeding year, both days inclusive, is prescribed a close season in respect of mullet or kanae, during which close season it shall be unlawful for any person to take any such fish. 2. These regulations shall have the force and effect in all waters, as defined by the said Act, of the Kaipara Harbour, inside a straight line drawn from the trigonometrical station on Oowa Mound to the trigonometrical station on Komlti Bluff. 3. Any person committing a breach of those regulations shall bo liable to a penalty not exceeding £20 nor less than twenty shillings.
