It is estimated that ten thousand victims perished in the recent massacres in Anatolia.
The Bank of France sent the Ottoman Bank £1,300,000. The run upon the latter bank is now subsiding.
Kiarnal Pasha, lately dismissed from the Ministry, has been appointed Governor of Smyrna, and has sailed for that town. London, November 11. The alleged attack upon Armenians by Kurds was instigated from the Sultan's palace in order to discredit tho policy of concession. Three French warships have been ordered to the Levant. Constantinople, November 11. Five of the embassies to-day presented the Sultan with fresh urgent demands for reforms.
