PAPAKURA VALLEY FOOTBALL
CLUB'S ANNUAL SPORTS.' The annual sports of the above were held in Dr. ladle's paddock on the 25th May. Bodle, Butterworth, and Cockerton efficiently acted us,judges, and Mr. J. Ballantinc as starter. The weather was very favourable for the competitors, but not so much so for the spectators, being rather dull and cold. This may have accounted for the slight lack of the enthusiasm of past years.
