[by iiclkokaph.—piiEsa association.] Invkscargull, Thursday. The interprovincial cricket match, Ofcago v. Southland, was completed to-day. It resulted in a very easy will for the visitors, who scored 195 in their second innings to Southland's 35. For Otago the principal scorers were :—Parker 45, Ritchie 42, Baker 32, Clark 28. and Lawton 11. Stevenson took five wickets for 66, A. Carver two for 39. Kingsland one for 34, VV. Carver one for '28, Gibson one for 6. It was expected that the local team would have got over their funk at the bowling, So apparent on the first day, but five did not score, and the best, A. Carver and Smith, made 14 and 10 respectively. Parker took eight wickets for 15, and Clark two for 7. The weather was very hot. The wicket waß capital.
