The annual meeting of the Helensville Town Hall Company will be held at Helensrille on the 19th inst. The half-yearly general meeting of the Onehunea Perpetuid Building ana Investment Society is called in our advertising columns. To-day Mr. G. Lewis will offer for sale by auction an immense variety of English-made furniture, mirrors, etc., without reserve. The third ot the series of lantern lectures on "Pilgiim's Progress," illustrated with limelight views, will be given in the Young Men's Christian Association rosins, by Mr. C. S. Button, to-morrow evening. Mrs. Nelson, on behalf of the Benevolent Society, acknowledges, with thanks, receipt from the ladies of Remuera, per Mrs. Pritt, of £15 12s, being net proceeds of a juvenile fancy ball on 21at ult.
