NEW SOUTH WALES LOAN.
SIR G. R.' DIBBS AND LONDON FINANCIERS. Press Association.— Telegraph.— Copyright. London, October 22. By a Dalziel cablegram published in the London newspapers, Sir G. R. Dibbs is reported to have said that the adoption of funded stock in Sydney had induced English financiers to throw money at New South Wales, but that the colony would only apply to the London market when capitalists virtually asked them. The statement has been received with ridicule in financial circles in town, which are ignorant of the withdrawal of Treasury bills.
