DUNEDIN OATS. DtTNEDiN, October 19.—Transactions during the past week have been rather on a small scale, mainly confined to filling coastal and local orders. Exporters, while not lacking inquiry, seem not able to operate at the present range of prices. Milling sorts, though in small supply, are not much sought for, and are now only saleable at prices being secured for bright feed.. Holders are not pressing sales, and ther'« can scarcely be a doubt that if prices are not destined to rise, and there is yet time for improvement before the harvest, considering small stocks on hand, they cannot wel'. go much lower. A very slight outside demand would quickly harden prices. Best milling. Is lOd to Is lid ; best bright feed, ls9d to Is lOd ; medium to good, Is 6d to Is 9d ; inferior to medium, Is 6d to Is Sd (ex store, sacks extra); no demand for long oats of any consequence.
