Prices remain at late quotations Fat wethers, 13s 6d to 14s: store wethers, lis 6d: breeding ewes, 7s 6d to 9s ; for full-mouthed and aged hoggets, 6s Id to Bs. No first-class lines were forward. Cattle were in small numbers, and a trifle easier. Calves, small, 17s; dairy cows, 70s to SOs; fat cows, medium, 90s to 955. Pigs very low. Young sows, 21s to 22s ; wcaners, 3s 6d to 7s 6d. Mr. Licht, the sugar expert, estimates the eight months' production of beet sugar will show a decrease of 108,000 tons, and expects there will be a decrease on the whole campaign of 195,000 tons. The list for the next series of wool Bales has closed. The total arrivals to date number 425.000 bales, of which 58.000 have been forwarded on to manufacturers, leaving 387,000 available for the sales.
