In order that their race meeting tomorrow may be brought to a close at a reasonable hour, the Takapuna Jockey Club have wisely decided to time the starting of the first race for noon, so that if the racing is kept up to time those attending will be enabled to sea the programme out, and then be back in town before six p.m. The Devonport Ferry Company will have their largo fleet of steamers in commission, so that passengers may rely on a speedy and comfortable trip across the water. The musical portion of the programme is to be rendered by Impoy 8 £ nd. Mr. Wynyard notifies that pomes which have not yet passed the standard will be measured this afternoon. .
