Tho deaths in August wore 196— increase of 21 on the number in ilulv. Of the total deaths males contributed 112 and females 84. Fifty-six of tho deaths were of children under 5 years of age, being 28.57 per cent, of the whole number 42 of these were under 1 year of age.
