[by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wklunuton, Wednesday. In banco, to-day, William Charles Overton was called to show cause why he should not be fined for discharging the functions of a solicitor without being entitled to act in that capacity. The particular offence was in connection with the filing of a motion for probate of a will. Mr. Overton did not appear, and Mr. Chapman, who was acting for tho Law Society, did not wish to take Overton by surprise, as he might not be acquainted with the practices of the Court.
