(by TELEGRAPH. —PRKBS ASSOCIATION.] InATCGii.it., Tuesday. Bishop Mohan was the recipient of a congratulatory address from St. Mary's . oongrcgation last evoning. In reply, lie said his mission to Europe had been very successful, resulting in additional priests and teaohing staff being secured. When at Rome he had an interview with the Pope, who made many inquiries as to the spiritual and material welfare of the Catholics of Now Zealand, and warned them against the revolution, and against secret socioties of every kind. The Bishop told His Holiness that a warning about revolution was unnecessary to Irishmen in New Zealand, as they abhorred it, while as to secret societies they were not at all events much given to them.
