It has been known by old residents here for years that there are some very beautiful caves up the Wanganui River at Pipiriki, and those who have seen them say they are equal in beauty to those lately discovered at Waitomo. If the proposed improvements to the river are carried out by the Government these caves bid fair to become a great attraction to tourists.
