THE WAIPIRO MURDERS.
[by TELEGRAPH,PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Gisesornk, Tuesday. Haerk te Peri was pub into the dock, and the first indictment preferred against him was that of the murder of Frank Pook on December 5. Mr. Gully of Wellington, with Mr. Nolan of Gisborne, appeared for the Grown, and Mr. Kenny with Mr. Watson, Gisborne, for the defence. A number of witnesses were called, whe detailed the particulars already published, after which the Court adjourned until to-morrow, the jury being locked up.
