Mr. Gully of Wellington, with Mr. Nolan of Gisborne, appeared for the Grown, and Mr. Kenny with Mr. Watson, Gisborne, for the defence. A number of witnesses were called, whe detailed the particulars already published, after which the Court adjourned until to-morrow, the jury being locked up.
