THE PARIS EXHIBITION.
[by TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ciiristchurcii, Friday. Tiie committee of the Chamber of Commerce, this afternoon, passed a resolution that a special effort should bo made to have the colony represented at the Paris Exhibition, and that the Government be telegraphed to and requested to appoint a special commissioner, and obtain as much space at the Exhibition as possible, and make all arrangements throughout the colony. In the event of this being done, the Chamber will do all that is possible to obtain suitable exhibits from Canterbury.
