MUSICAL FESTIVAL.
[by telegraph.— association.] Christchurch, Thursday. The Diocesan Choral Association held their sixth annual festival in the Cathedral today. The choristers taking part numbered 2SO against 390 last year. From a musical point of view, the festival was successful, though not so good as that of 1887.
