FRANCE AND ITALY.
ANNEXATION OF MASSOWAH.
THREATENED REPRISALS. [press ASSOCIATION.]
Paris, August 11. M. Goblet has addressed a circular note to the Powers on the Massowah difficulty, in which he insists that the district has always been regarded as a portion of Egyptian territory. He denies the right of Italy to annex. The note further protests against the taxation of Greeks, the seizure of Zulla, and threatens reprisals.
