NELSON MINING NEWS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS association. Nelson, Monday. Meetings of shareholders in the Bulwer Creek and the Wakatu Goldmining Companies were held this evening. At the first-named 14,869 shares were represented, and at the latter 31,070 shares. At both meetings resolutions were passed to amalgamate the companies' properties at the Owen, and work them under one management. A joint committee, comprising Messrs. Cooke, Silcock, Marshall, Merrick, Saxton, and Atmore were appointed to arrange the terms of amalgamation, and report at a future meeting.
