GREAT FALL IN SHARES.

Melbourne, April 18. The silver sharemarket is terribly depressed, and all stocks have experienced a heavy fall. ; »• : The severest panic in silver stock since the recent boom commenced is now being experienced. The higher priced , shares of the several Broken Hills companies have suffered most, but all stocks show a very heavy decline. The shrinkage of stock at the Old Exchange alone amounts to a quarter of a million.
