DEBTOR'S EXAMINATION.

S. C. L. McCall.—Samuel Charles L. McCall, bankrupt, was examined yesterday before the Official Assignee, when he deposed that in April, 1885, he took over the business of Mr. Alfred Silk. The stock-in-trade proved unsaleable, and the providing suitable stock and keeping up the payments under bill of sale, were matters of extreme difficulty. A creditor for £6 had pressed him, and he had been#ompelled to file. The Other creditors had agreed to take 10s in the £1.
