At the Pitt-street Wesleyan Church last evening, the Rev. Mr. Bull preached a sermon referring to the duties which the electors have now before them. He took as his text the words, " Righteousness exalteth a nation." He said that he could not deal with the subject in the spirit of a political partisan, but he urged his hearers to select men of standing and of moral character. If this were doue, New Zealand would soon feel the benefit, as it possessed enormous natural wealth and abundant resources.
