The three -m»«ted schooner William Phillips cleared outwards at the Customs yesterday, for New York, with a cargo of kauri «um, consistIng of 2013 cases, containing 195£ tons. This is valued at £10,182. She is expected to sail during the course of the next day or two. The Union Co.'a s.s. Ohau arrived in harbour early yesterday morning, from Southern ports, with a fall cargo of grain, etc. She lett Danedin at 10 a.m. on the 15th instant, called at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, Glsborne, and Tauranga en route, leaving the latter port at 3.10 p.m. on Wed nesday last, Auckland being reached at 6.3 C a.m. yesterday. Light N.W. winds and smooth lea- prevailed during the crip. The schooner Waiwera is to sail for Gis borne this morning. En route, she is to load 10,000 feet of timber at Mercury Bay. The s.a. Douglas, which has been bir-bouno at Opotiki for the past day or two, left there & 6 o'clock yesterday morning, and should arrivt here during tfio course of to-day. The B.s. She left again for Waitara at 5.60, with » quantity of cargo and several passengers. The s.s. Stuff* is due from Waitara this morning with a cargo of tallow. She will leave again at 1 o'olock, taking oargo for Waitara and New Plymouth breakwater.
