A meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union was held on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Sohnackenberg (President) presiding. A resolution was carried, to be forwarded to the Ministers' Association, in relation to the recent meeting at the Young Men's Christian Association, respecting destitute and neglected children, and requesting the aid and influence of the clergy in getting workers for the institution already engaged in this work, notably for the boys' classes in the Howe-street Industrial Home building, established by the W.C.T.U.
