Earl Morley is mentioned as likely to succeed Mr. Stanhope as Secretary of State for the Colonics. London, January 9. The Times considers that Sir H. T. Holland, Vice-president of the Council, | is preferable to the Earl of Cadogan as Secretary of State for the Colonies, and | it regrets that Mr. E. Stanhope was transferred.
