Silverton. —The mine manager reports : We have got the drive timbered nearly up to the winze, and have started breaking the roef across the winze much wider than we aid in sinking, and it seems to improve in quality as we break into it. There was about 401b of fair picked stone to hand to-day from over two feet inside where the winze timbers'were footed, and it looks as if it would be good still further in. There is 1451b of picked stone on hand, about sixty of which is very fair quality. The balanco is about similar to the last parcel treated.
