REDUCTION OF TELERGAPH RATES.
[EKUTER'S TKIJEGitAM.J Melbourne, July 16. The colonies of New Zealand, New South Wales, and Victoria hare agreed to a reduction of tariff for cable messages passing over their lines by onehalf ; but they consider that, in that case, they are entitled to substantial concession at the hands of the cable company. Communications are being exchanged on the subject, and a favourable issue to the negotiations is looked for. I BY TELEGRAPH.—PEESS ASSOCIATIOX.I Wellington, Thursday.
