London, June 10. - The tenders for the Great Northern Railway bridge over the river Hawkesbury (New South Wales), have been referred to a committee of civil engineers, consisting of Messrs. Barlow, Berkley, and Galton. GERMAN VIEWS ON THE SAMOAN QUESTION. London, June 11. The North German Gazette, in an article on the Samoan question, considers the claims put forward by New Zealand in regard to that island are untenable. . r'
