[On Saturday morning . we received ' the following telegram from, the Colonial Treasurer, dated Waiwera:—" The total amount of loan applied for was three millions nine hundred and eighty thousand pounds. Tenders at £99 6s 6d receive 30 per cent- ; above that price iu full.. Considering the rate of discount and the price of consols, this is a splendid result. There were 700 tenders.—Julius Vogbl,"]
