Re Joseph Inglis.—A meeting of cre« ditora was held yesterday in this estate# : The bankrupt is a farmer near Kumca (Kaipan)*' The liabilities were set down at £164 13s, and the assets at £30. The-bankruptcy of the debtor was ascribed to continuous illness. It appeared also that there had been con*' siderable litigation, between the debtor and a neighbouring farmer named Mollet onaccount of cattle trespass. The debtor haying been cast in damages and costs, some of the creditors expressed sympathy for the debtor. The creditor Moller had not proved his. claim against ;the bankrupt estate when' he arrived. After considerable the creditors passed no resolution, and the bankrupt will have to apply for his discharge' to the Supreme Court.
