The trustees of the Dunedin Savings Sank have agreed to pay out of the accrued profits the sum of £1560 to the trustees of the Benevolent Institution. This is the third payment of the kind, so that with th« Government subsidy the Benevolent Institution has secured a sum of £11,200. The Silver Peak dummyism cases wer« further inquired into at the Land Board to'day. Further proceedings were adjourned till next Tuesday; Two men were caught red-handed yesterday fishing for trout in Lake Wakatipu. Their boats and nets were seized. They are liable to a nenalty of £100.
