Honeßty, who had a high record in America, and was imported to compete fir tins prize, won all three heats, covering the lirst mile in 2min. 30sees. In the seroiul heat the time was 2min. 33isees., and in the third heat the same. Ajax was second in thu Gist and final heats, and third in tho second. Contractor was distanced in the lirat heat.
