Napier writes : " Can you inform me at what time Mr. McLean scratched Louie (the date and time of his notice), as I lucked her yesterday?"— Louie was scratched at 4.10 on Thursday afternoon. The telegram was despatched on that day. F. >V'.R. writes: 'To decide a wager will you please state whether Wattie rode Maid of Honour when she ran Becond to Foul Play in the Auckland Cup !"— Tommy Hodson rode the mare in the race in question. Wattie rode her in another race at the same meeting.
Auc.klinder writes: "What weight did Tim Whiffler carry when The Poet beat him a head in the A.R.C. Handicap last year, and what time was the ra.-e ran in ';"—Tim carri. d 7st. 911)3.. The Poet 6st. Olba. The one and threo-quarter miles was run in 3m. lljsecs.
