Tlie shipment ot frozen meat prepared for her by the New Zealand Ilerigeiating Company consists of 72GG carcases, jut 142S of these have been unavoidably ihut out, and will be shipped instead by the ihfp Dunedin, which leaves in about three pveesk'time. The principal contributors to this ;otal number «re :—Mr. J. Kcctl (Oamaru), 1013 ; Messrs. Smith and Son (Tuapeka), 1003; Murray, Roberts and Co. (.South Faieri), 971 ; Mr. J. Douglas (Waimate), 366 ; New Zealand and Australian Loan Company (Clutha), 110S ; Mr. Studrioline (Waimate), 457 ; Mr. R. Menlove Oamaru), 452. The total weight of ihipmcnt is a little over 237 tons, or an iverage of 631bs. per sheep. The chamber lor butter is also expected to be well filled before departure.
