Mears (56), and Spry (59), not out, were also remarkably gonl imvngs. Tlie rest of the wickets fell for a small addition to the score. W. McArthur au-i Co. then went in, and scored 147, of which 37 were extras. YVoods headed the score with 40, during the com piling of which he gave several e%sy catchfs, which wt;re politely refused by the field.
