Sedgwtuh Kiiunde.s, the Medical officer of Health for the city of London, and have obtained the following results :— Specific gravity of the Whisky, 0 £91.5} Specific gravity of the distillate from ditto, 9.804,2. It is, therefore, a strong spirit, being 19.8 degrees over proof, according to -ykes, Jt contains no J sußnr, and only a mere trace of fixed matter, in the form of colouring matter; it baa the llavour of good whldky, and is remarkably free from luail oil.
