POUT ALBERT AGraCULTURAL SHOW. [per telegraph prom warkworth.] The Agricultural Show of 1579 came off today (February 27th) at the show grounds, Port Albert. It proved as successful a\any of our previous exhibitions. Horses, cattle, and sheep were, for the most part, good, and some superior. The produce, and particularly fruit, was, on the whole, excellent, and not a little of it fir9t-class. It was Eomewhat surprising that but so little of it was affected by the long drought. The committee, to whom great credit is due for the general excellence of all the arrauge. meats are Messrs. .J. W. C. Smith, A. Neal, John Becroft, G. Dibble, and G. Piummer, the able secretary. The stewards for live stock were Messrs. T. Marcroffc and It. Cutforth ; for produce, Messrs. G. Piummer, B. M. Gubb, L. Marcroft, aud A. Hemus. i The following is the Port Albert Agricultural Show 1579 prize liat:— HOUSES. Judges: C. Uawkias (iTaungatapsre), l\ Carter (MrtngApai), and K. Kosa, sen. iK'uwaka). Entires, 1 exhibit—W*.
