THE AUCKLAND STEAM PACKET
COMPANY. A general meeting of the shareholders of the Auckland Steam Packet Company was held on Friday, 21st June, at the office of Messrs. Combes and Daldy, for the purpose of passing a resolution to the effect that the company's estate had been fairly wound-up. The following shareholders were present:— Captain Daldy (in the chair), Messrs. T. Morrin, W. Lodder, S. Kissling, J. James, A. Isaacs, and W. C. Daldy, juu. The chairman read the advertisement convening the meeting, and presented the account certified to by the liquidators, which shewed that the net proceeds of the sale of shares was £12,1/9 Is 33, and the disbursements amounted to the same, the latter including two dividends to the shareholders of 30s 9d per share. This being the whole of the businees, Mr James moved, and Mr. W. C. Daldy, jun., seconded, the following resolution :—"That this general meeting of the Auckland Steam Packet Company, in liquidation, approve of the winding-up accounts of the liquidators, and declare that the affairs of the company have been fairly wound-up, and that the said company be herewith dissolved." The resolution was passed unanimously, and the meeting terminated with the usual vote of thanks to the chairman.
