WOOL SALE.

Messrs. Hunter and Nolan held tlscir scconil wool sale at their y irds, Durham-street, yesterday afternoon, and out of 215 bales offered were successful in imposing of 229. Tlie prices obtained for greasy wool showed material increase on those secured at previous sales, while washed wool was quitted at about the same figures as have beer, ruling for weeks past, for Tool in grease, the price ranged from S.Jd to lid, anil for washed wool, from 10.M to Mi l. The quality of the article was really"good, and in a few instances hardly to he surpassed. The greater part of it came from Wangarei, but there were also large lots from MataUaua, Waiuku, and the Waikato. Though the at tendance was good, the purchases were restricted to a few gentlemen, whose names, and the number of hales bought by each, are as follow: —Mr. Laybourn, 83 bales ; li.
