I have sold Bank of New Zealand shares during tho month at £17, and buyers aro prepared to advance on that price. Gas shares are at par, ei div.; a dividend at tho rate of 10 per cent, per annum, is payable on February sth. New Zealand Insurance Company shares are in the market at £20. A dividend of 10 per cont. on the paid up capital of the Company was declared at the half-yearly meeting held this montl..
