RIFLE FIRING.
About 25 members belonging to No. 6 Company •Bifle "Volunteers mustered at the corner ot Karangahape Road, at 11 a.m. yesterday, and proceeded to the rifle range, Point Chevalier, for the purposo of determining which ot the members should represent the company at the match to bo fired on Thursday next, between ten members of the Auckland Rdl"; olunteers and a similar number of the Cambridge Frontier Rifles. Notwithstanding that the weather was moat favorable for the occasion, the average firing was vciy poor. The following score was
