Mr. George Sibbin sold at auction to-day, by order of the Registrar of tho Suprome Court, allotment Ho. 1, section 37, Queon-street (near tbo Army and Naval Hotel), for £140. A four-roomed house and allotment in West-street, Newton, brought £60. The Wheatsheaf Hotel pioperty wa3 bought by the mortgagee. Messrs. K. and H". Isaacs report selling at auction to day as follows:—Pino flour, 12«; new biscuit, 13s; rice, 3d; oatmeal, 2Jd j tea, Is 8d j salt, fla 6d ; pork, 3d; lard, 9Jd j BUgar, ; currants, 4}d ; starch, 5d ; onions, Id; pickles, lis; and vestas, 9s, &o.
