Flour. —The market is rathev more active, holders are asking extreme rates, £2S to £30 lor lirst-class Adelaide," and £25 for Chilian. Buyers avo not yet disposed to acquiesce freelv in these prices. Bacon and Hams.—A move decided movement has occurred to-day ; 1/ has been paid for a mixed parcel in tlie proportion of three of bacon to one ot hams. A further advance now seems certain. Beer.—Hullc and bottled, more eWiuired for, owing to fine weather. Tea.—A parcel of low congous changed hands to day at 11 id liWal terms. Tho uniavourablu weather has caused business to open flutter this week than was anticipated, and tho operations in the import market have been ot a limited character. Flour remains firm at £22 10. Tin-: Jliu.'. —The trade demand for flour has been active, although tho extent of purchases has been somewhat limited. Miller's prices are:—£23 per 2,0001b. for fine silk-diesscd flour ; Is. Gd. per bushel for bran ; and from Is. lOd. to 2s. per bushel for pollard ; oatmeal (colonial), £21 pbrloii. Bi.tau, Markets. —Butchers' Meat. —Beef, 4d. to Gid.; muttoii, 3ld. to od. do. : veal, 7d. to Sd. do.; pork, 7d. io !)d. do.; all according to quality. Poultry. —Fowls, ss. to Gs. per pair : geese, 12s. to 13s. do. , ducks, 7s. Gd. to Ss. Gd. do. ; turkeys, 17s. to 2Gs. do.
