" Gazette " Office, ' j Saturday morning,. 7. o'clock., j * We delay the publication of our paper for a short time, to enable us to inform'o^ readers of the ariival of the Company's barque " Cuba," Capt. Newcombe, f o.n Sydney and Bay of Islands. The "Cuba" has on board as passengers : — Dr. and Mrs. Evans, R. D. Hanson and H. Moreing, Esqrs., and several others whose names' we have not yet learnt. . There has been a dreadful fire at the Thames. Nearly the whole of the Governor's furniture has been destroyed, and a portion of the dwelling house recently arrived there per. " Platina," from England. , . - The "Cuba" experienced very bad weather in her passage from the Thames. We are unable to present our readers with further information, as up' to the time of our going to press, the mail bag had not been opened. In our next, however, we-will-pub-lish every particular.
