EAST COAST.
DEPARTURE OF KKREOPA, PATARA, AND THIRTY MEN. By the arrival of the ' Kauri,' Captain Shearer, we learu that Kereopa, Patara, and thirty men. left the district of Opotiki for Taranaki. The Hau Haus of the above district lament ever listening to Kereopa and his followers, and also believing in the new faith (Pai Marirism). They are now waiting to surrender and take the oath of allegiance. The native districts from Cape Runaway to Opotiki are in a more settled state.
