WESLEYAN CHURCH, REMUERA.

A soiree in connexion with the Wesleyan Church, Remuera, was held last evening. The building was well filled. Tea was on the table at six o'clock, after which the meeting was addressed by several clergymen, amongst whom were the following :—The Kevs. Warren, Whitely, Smith, Morley, Snackenberg, Buddie, and Rishworth. An efficient choir was in attendance, and contributed very much to the pleasantry of the proceedings. After prayers had been offered by the Rev. Mr. Whitely, The Rev. Mr. Warren, who occupied the chair addressed the meeting. He congratulated the members of the Wesleyan body residing in the district for being the possessors of so fine a little church as that in wniuh the., were assembled. The Rev. Mr. Buddie, the Rev. Mr. Rushworth, and other clergymen then addresse 1 the meeting, which was brought to a termination shortly before ten o'clock.
