The standard of excellence of Hie programmes at the l'ict„ure Palae> is fully maintained by the current one, which features ''Proton ih" Second," a detective drama replete with thrills. The piece, which is beautifully photographed and is finely set, certainly does not lack sensation, and to lovers of this class of entertainment it makes a strong appeal. Of a .different type of drama is "How God came to Sonny," a beautiful story beautifully'presented. The Pathe Gazette is interesting, and a splendid industrial film is included in the series. In "The Chicken Chaser" the clever Keystone players give a romping whirling twenty minutes of .sidtyacJiing fun. The programme will be shown again this afternoon and to-night,
