MAEREWHENUA.

A meeting of householders was held here on Monday night. The report and balance-sheet -were read and unanimously adopted. The following gentlemen were elected a Committee for the ensuing yeAr : Messrs John Adams, Wm. Wilson, William Bailey, William Bloomfield, W ilium M'Randle, James Bailey, and Honry Butt. At a Committee meeting held afterwaids, Mr W Uliam Bailey was elected chairman, and Mr John Adams secretary and treasurer.
